Molly Davi has risen as one of the sport’s most promising young talents. The standout from Hilo High has already set new records in Hawaii and earned national accolades, positioning her to become one of the most celebrated players in the Class of 2027.

The 2027 class for LSU is going to be filled with elite talent across the country. In this third installment of our recruiting spotlight, we highlight seven more names that Tiger fans should get to know ahead of September 1st.

Her biggest highlight came on the state’s biggest stage. In the state semifinals against Notre Dame, Bennett’s presence in the lineup was so respected that she was intentionally walked four times across the semifinal and championship games. Even without pitches to hit, she found ways to impact the game and energize her team. “That semifinal win was unforgettable,” Bennett said. “The energy from both teams was electric, and the environment in Sulphur is unmatched.”

It's important to remember that the transfer market was quite different in the past. Nevertheless, Beth Torina and Yvette Girouard managed to recruit some true game-changers.

“Another goal is to just be the workhorse I always have been and make the adjustments that I’ll need along the way.” Off the field, she’s just as disciplined: academic excellence is nonnegotiable. “I’ve never been one that’s just ok with getting by. I want to be at the top and give my full best.”
