Recently I had a chance to catch up with the No. 3 overall player in Louisiana for the Class of 2025 per ON3 rankings to discuss his LSU offer and what is in store for the 2023 season.

Simon is one of two of the top runnigbacks in the country who happen to be located in the state of Louisiana. Frank Wilson should not have to leave the boundaries of the state for the 2025 cycle to get his guys. Having two dynamic guys like Simon and No. 11 overall Harlem Berry and the top runningback in the country located in the confines of their home state is a luxury all coaches would love to have.
Simon says on his LSU offer " It's a thankful feeling, I grew up loving the atmosphere and Leonard Fournette so it's great to know that i can be in that stadium possibly having a career like Leonard did." He has already been building a great relationship with the LSU staff as he says," I have a tight relationship with them, and I talk to Sherman, Coach Frank and Coach Sloan the most."
He says there are a couple schools standing out at the moment but he will keep those names private at this point in his recruitment. For his upcoming Junior he has set some goals " I want to average 100 yards a game or more and finish with almost 2,000 yards this year." He currently has 25+ offers to date with every SEC Contender having an offer on the table. Interesting note here is he will be recruited by the Legend Frank Wilson, the same coach that brought the Leonard to LSU, the same coach that Fournette said upon Wilson being hired , that he was the best coach he has ever had at ANY level.
