For many elite prospects, attention arrives early. Rankings, hype, and expectations follow long before high school begins. For Analiese Holmes, the foundation has been built differently — through consistency, preparation, and measurable results.
As she enters her high school career at Pineville, Holmes already carries a résumé shaped by strong production, defensive reliability, and a clear sense of pride in representing Louisiana on a national stage.
And the numbers support it.

A Strong Start at Pineville
During fall competition at Pineville High School, Holmes wasted little time establishing herself as a reliable presence in the lineup.
In 12 games, she posted:
• Batting Average: .458
• On-Base Percentage: .567
• OPS: 1.525
• Hits: 11
• Extra-Base Hits: 7
• Home Runs: 2
• RBIs: 8
• Runs Scored: 11
Just as important, she finished the fall season with a 1.000 fielding percentage, recording 17 assists and seven putouts without an error. The combination of on-base production, extra-base ability, and clean defense reflects a player who contributes to multiple phases — not just at the plate.
Proven Against National Competition
Holmes’ success has not been limited to the high school level.
Competing with Impact Gold in fall competition, she continued to show consistency against elite travel-ball pitching.
Across 24 games, she recorded:
• Batting Average: .380
• On-Base Percentage: .500
• OPS: 1.040
• Hits: 19
• Runs Scored: 24
• RBIs: 10
• Walks: 10
Defensively, she handled 60 total chances with a .950 fielding percentage.

The ability to maintain strong production across both high school and national travel circuits is one of the clearest indicators of long-term projection — and Holmes has done so early in her career.
Defense as Identity
While the offensive numbers stand out, Holmes consistently emphasizes defense as a central part of her game. “I take the most pride in my game IQ,” she said. “It allows me to be a better hitter, defender, and leader.” She also notes that communication and aggressiveness are key parts of her approach in the field.
“The first thing I want people to notice is my voice and my aggressiveness to any ball.” ~ A. Holmes
That mindset shows up in her metrics — low error rates, strong assist totals, and steady performance in pressure environments.
Built Through Competition
Holmes credits national tournament play with accelerating her development.
“Playing in national tournaments has given me the opportunity to make defensive plays during some of the biggest moments,” she said. “It’s also put me in situations where I fail. That’s what helps me learn more about myself.” Rather than avoiding difficult environments, she has embraced them — using failure as a tool for refinement and growth.

That approach aligns closely with her focus on preparation.
“Focusing on the little details during practice allows me to focus in games and not overthink the play.”
Rooted in Faith and Family
Away from the field, Holmes’ foundation is grounded in faith and family.
“Two things that are most important to me are my faith and my family,” she said. “Without God, I wouldn’t have the ability to play the game I love. Without my family, I wouldn’t have the opportunities they’ve given me.”
She also points to her father as her primary role model — a constant source of guidance and support.
That balance between competitive drive and personal grounding has helped shape her maturity at a young age.
Representing Louisiana
For Holmes, success is not only individual.
It is regional.
“I’m really proud to be from Louisiana,” she said. “When I get to represent Louisiana on the national stage, I get to show that Louisiana players are humble, hardworking, and tough.”
That pride remains central to her motivation — whether competing at Pineville, traveling nationally, or preparing for future opportunities.
Looking Ahead
As Holmes prepares for her first full high school season, her goals remain rooted in growth and team success. “I just want to get out on the field and do whatever it takes to help my team win a state championship.”
With strong early production, defensive reliability, and a clear understanding of her identity as a player, Holmes enters the next stage of her career positioned for continued development. The foundation has already been laid. And it has been built on work, discipline, and measurable results.
