LSU Basketball and 2024 Wing Allen Graves of LivOn Basketball

For many the Graves name and LSU Basketball may sound familiar and that is because Allen Graves is the younger brother of Marshall Graves who played four seasons at LSU. Allen is a 6'9"-230 lbs wing out of Ponchatoula, La and plays on the Nike EYBL Circuit. Last season Graves averaged 19.6 PPG, 10.9 RBG and 2.0 BLK.

Graves is currently hearing from LSU, Oklahoma, Tulane, Murray State, Boise State, ULL, and Texas A&M to name a few. He has 5 offers from Texas A&M, University of New Orleans, Southeastern, Northwestern and LSU-A. From LSU the charge is being led by former tiger Tasmin Mitchell.

On the message he is getting from LSU " They have been saying they want to do a deep dive on me and said they don't want to let me get out of the state."

Graves on what it would mean to have the LSU offer and the opportunity to represent his state " It would mean a lot because family and home is something that means alot to me and LSU is both of those things. My brother went there and my sister in law ( Rachel Misher) who was an All -American track athlete. It would mean alot to be able to carry on the legacy but ultimately I want to follow whatever path God has for me."

Regarding LSU past season he commented " they didn't have the best season but it seems they are building a good culture as a foundation to win in the future." I asked Graves what he feels is his best attribute and he says " I would say basketball IQ is my best attribute. He also told me basketball runs in the family "My brother played at LSU for 4 years under Coach Johnny Jones and Will Wade and then my sister Amoura Graves played for Auburn University."

Graves says when he is not hooping " I like mechanic work. I currently work with my father who runs his own mechanic and shop and I'm learning how to be one." This would definitely be a great addition for the Tigers if they do extend the offer and Graves jumps on board.
