The September 1st deadline came and went, marking the beginning of a new exciting chapter for LSU Softball as they prepare to welcome a talented group of high school juniors to campus. Among these rising stars is none other than Caroline Stanton, the top-ranked player and pitcher in the country for 2026 according to Softball America. The LSU coaching staff has been buzzing with excitement, preparing for the arrival of these promising athletes who are set to make a significant impact on the future of Tigers softball.
Caroline Stanton: A Force to be Reckoned With
If bringing the Number 1 Overall Player in the class to campus wasn't enough, Madi Doty, who is ranked the No. 4 overall player in the country, is set to visit the campus this weekend.
As the LSU Softball program continues to attract top-tier talent, the incoming group of visitors does not fall off after two top 5 prospects. They will host the No. 11 Overall Player in OF Sydnee Williams, an outfielder for AZ Storm, the No. 14 Overall player Avary Stockwell, a catcher for TN Mojo, and the No. 23 Overall player Brooklyn Gidley, a middle infielder from TX Bombers.
The list does not stop there as they will be bringing in Adelynn Siegel, a 2026 Impact Gold Jazz 16U OF/SS who is a 2x TX STATE CHAMP and a District 29-2A Co-MVP, 1st Team All-State player.
Giselle De Casas, a middle infielder from Castro Valley HS will also be on campus . Giselle was named to the All-League 1st team and plays for Universal Macias 18U.
Month of September visits
For the month of September I have been able to confirm that 16 of the Top 25 Playersin Softball Americas 2026 rankings will be visiting LSU . Buckle up as things will be moving quickly !
