Kaylee on what led her to LSU "LSU’s environment is unbeatable. The coaching staff is first class and second to none. The facilities are unmatched and I can really picture myself at home in Baton Rouge." As for where she will play when she gets to Baton Rouge she said "I think LSU sees me in the outfield. If being a utility and getting into the infield gets me on the field though, I’m open to playing any position." Who did the tigers have to contend with for her commitment "I was really interested in several mid majors and a couple other power 5 schools, but I was laser focused on coming to LSU."

Kaylee says regarding commitments she has prior relationships with "I played with Lauryn Soeken for 2 seasons on the same travel ball team and I’m excited to get to play defense behind her again. I had the pleasure of playing with Braelyn Daniels back in 2020 on the Region 5 All American team." She added some nuggets on some 2024 commits as well " I’ve faced Jayden Heavener and Destiny Harris during summer ball and it’ll be nice to be on the same side of field." When describing her style of play she said "It’s a blend of scrappiness and finesse. I have a lot of tools that I use and I think I take a lot of people by surprise." What is her motivation "Competition really drives me. I love to win. I want to prove people wrong."

I’ve attended several camps where I was fortunate to have several opportunities to get to know the coaching staff. They’re motivated, fun, and have truly made me feel like apart of the LSU family already.

What is she doing in her free time " I enjoy reading books in my spare time, lifting and going to the gym, and relaxing with my family and friends." She says her favorite author is "Emily Henry is one of my favorites" . When it comes to the gym favorite workout split day is back and bicep day. She still has goals set for herself before getting to LSU as she stated " I’d love to win another state championship before I get to LSU. Making a deep run at PGF with my travel ball team is also on the list of goals. Some personal goals would be to just continue getting faster and stronger before I step foot at LSU."
