Exciting Times Ahead: LSU Softball Unveils Fall and SEC Conference Schedules

The much-awaited moment has arrived for all LSU softball enthusiasts as the LSU softball team reveals its thrilling 2024 fall schedule. Get ready to witness the Tigers in action as they gear up for a series of intense match-ups both in the Fall and the SEC Conference play.

LSU Softball Fall Schedule Unveiled

The LSU softball team's Fall schedule is packed with excitement and anticipation. With eight games on the agenda, including six exhibition contests set to take place at the iconic Tiger Park, there is no shortage of opportunities to witness the Tigers in full swing. Fans can mark their calendars to witness a new era in LSU softball unveiling what might be Beth Torina's top recruiting class to date.The Tigers will also welcome nine newcomers comprised of six true freshmen and three transfers in junior infielder Avery Hodge (Oklahoma), junior outfielder Jalia Lassiter (Ole Miss) and fifth-year senior pitcher Ashley Vallejo (McNeese).

Fall competition will begin with two games in Mobile, Ala., on Oct. 17 at Jaguar Field. LSU will challenge South Alabama at 3 p.m. CT and Chipola at 6 p.m. CT. Starting with a 6 p.m. CT game against Southeastern Louisiana on Oct. 23, the rest of the fall schedule will take place at Tiger Park. On Oct. 27, the Bayou Bengals will have a doubleheader against Louisiana Tech and Northwest Florida State (exact times TBD), followed by a game against Co-Lin at 5 p.m. CT on Oct. 29. The fall schedule will wrap up on Nov. 10 with matches against Southern (2:30 p.m. CT) and Belhaven (5 p.m. CT).

Experience the Thrills of LSU Softball Firsthand

In the 2025 softball season, the LSU softball team is set to play against eight out of the 15 SEC softball programs, amounting to a total of 24 conference games. The league schedule for the upcoming season was announced by the conference on Wednesday.

At Tiger Park, the Tigers will kick off their SEC series against Kentucky on March 14-16. Baton Rouge will also host other SEC series in 2025 against South Carolina (March 28-30), Alabama (April 4-6), and Florida (April 25-27).

LSU is scheduled to participate in a three-game series at Georgia (March 21-23), Texas A&M (April 11-13), Texas (April 18-20), and Arkansas (May 1-3). The SEC Tournament will take place from May 6-10 in Athens, Georgia.
