LSU Baseball is bringing in tons of good news with multiple transfer pitchers added after winning the national championship and now they get the No.2 player in the state, Kade Anderson to withdraw from the MLB Draft and make it to campus. Huge news for a staff that is looking to retool after they will lose some key pieces. I was able to do a Q&A with Kade to see what led to the decision and more.

Kade on what led to him withdrawing his name from the MLB Draft this Sunday "LSU is the place the place to be and it has always been my dream growing up in Louisiana." On how the staff at LSU intends to use him "As of right now I am a two-way player."
Anderson didn't pitch for the 2023 season as he was rehabbing back from Tommy John surgery. On where things are since the surgery he stated "I am fully recovered now tho and ready to compete in purple and gold." Regarding if he feels like he has recovered back to where he was pre-injury "honestly I feel even better." He says he has been throwing in bullpens and in scrimmages and is ready to go .
