In this installment, we spotlight another wave of high-impact athletes—players who are turning heads with their stat lines, versatility, and championship pedigree. These aren’t just numbers—you’re reading about proven difference-makers who can reshape a lineup or anchor a pitching staff.
Addison DeRoche — RHP / 1B — Cheverus HS (Portland, Maine) / 18U TN Mojo Ramsey
Two-time Maine Gatorade Player of the Year (freshman & sophomore).
High School (2025): Slashed .475 with a .577 OBP, 1.610 OPS, 9 home runs, and 37 RBIs. On the mound, she threw 100 innings, amassing 220 strikeouts with a 0.490 ERA.

Combined with Travel Ball: Pitched a staggering 164 innings with 315 strikeouts, and contributed a .402 batting average, 48 RBIs, and 12 home runs across HS + travel.
Now competing with 18U TN Mojo Ramsey, Addison continues to show she’s a complete two-way threat—SEC-ready with high-octane pitching and power hitting.
Bailey Barnett — SS / 3B — Bethany, MO — Top Gun National 18u
Standing tall at 5'10", Barnett is a powerhouse at the plate and a rock on the left side of the infield. This summer: 44 hits (11 doubles, 2 triples, 6 homers), .303 BA, .901 OPS, 34 RBIs, and 34 runs in 59 games.

Her high school trophy case is just as shiny—she holds single-season school records for batting average, hits, runs scored, and doubles, plus the career doubles mark. A two-time All-State pick and Team MVP who then elevated her game with .357 BA, 12 homers, and 61 RBIs for Top Gun. Bailey’s fourth year looks poised to be her best yet.
Morgan Waln — OF — Catlett, VA - Unity Johnson
Morgan Waln is a complete offensive weapon: .418 BA, .727 SLG, 1.179 OPS, 46 hits, 6 homers, 47 RBIs, and 13 stolen bases this summer.

Her high school line is equally lethal—.577 BA, 1.878 OPS, 25 RBIs, 7 HRs, 11 doubles, and 3 triples. A bat that delivers power, speed, and consistency? Exactly the kind of impact LSU covets.
Kaylee Hodges — RHP / 1B — Chesterfield, VA — Matoaca Varsity / Team NC-Bowman 16U
The 2025 Virginia Gatorade Player of the Year, Hodges is flat-out dominant on both ends of the diamond. High school spring: 108 innings, 256 strikeouts, a ridiculous 0.195 ERA, 25 hits allowed, and a .077 opponent batting average.

At the plate, she hit .500 with a 1.442 OPS and 20 RBIs. Summer travel? Same deal: 94 innings, 133 Ks, 0.606 WHIP, .134 opponent average, plus 10 homers and 29 RBIs. A true two-way star.
Kynlee Arechiga — SS / 2B / 3B — Pasadena, TX — Impact Gold Vaughn/Jazz 16U
Kynelee Arechiga brings elite offensive production and defensive versatility to the table. Her summer stats are jaw-dropping: .530 batting average, .601 OBP, and 1.567 OPS — fueled by 15 home runs and 60 RBIs.

In her final high school season, she was just as dangerous, posting a .556 batting average and 1.644 OPS over 45 at-bats. Whether it’s spraying line drives, launching long balls, or holding down any spot in the infield, Arechiga is a complete player with a proven track record of producing in clutch moments.
